Big Winds has one of the most professional instruction centers in the Gorge for beginning and experienced kiters interested in learning the sport or taking their skills to the next level. From Kite Control Lessons to Progression Camps, they cover it all. They provide jet ski support for water lessons and their instructors are awesome.
They avoid the busy beginner beach at kite spit by taking all water lessons downriver 2 miles by jet ski, which is a huge bonus for anyone taking lessons in the Gorge. They can be found at their shop in downtown Hood River and on the web where they have a fantastic selection of products.
